Milani Bedazzled Collection

So I have been stalking Walgreens and CVS for these Milani lipsticks for a few weeks now and I finally found them today at a Walgreens close to my job. They only put 2 lipsticks on the display which sucks so I got two of each one for me and one for my make up artist friend Rosie. These lipsticks reminded me a lot of the Mac Riri Collection that first came out Heaux and Riri Boy. At first I wasn't interested in the Enchanted Topaz because I feel like I have so many nudes and I've realized that a lot of the ones that are not pink toned don't really suit me, but being the make up collector that I am I realized I had to have it. The Enchnated Topaz was a orangey type nude that required a lot of swipes to get the desired color. Overall I liked this collection and you can't beat the price for $4.19 a piece. This was my least favorite of the three:

Excuse my bad skin, lately I've been having bad breakouts. This is was just a quick swatch at work so it's nothing special but so you can get an idea of the type of nude it is. I can only describe it as almost having an orange tone to it. It's alright but nothing out of this world for me.
These are the swatches on the hand including the emerald gel liner, I wasn't overly thrilled with the gel liner because it didn't really pull as emerald as I would've liked. It looked more grey to me with green sparkles.

I liked this purple a lot but it wasn't as pigmented as I expected. It's almost an exact dupe of Riri Boy which is awesome for the people were not able to snag it when it was released. Purples have been in a lot lately and this is a good one to add to your collection. You have to apply a lot of it to get a pigmented look.
This red looked a lot darker in the tube but actually applied like a berry color, I think it's a great color for fall and goes good with everything. I would wear this one again.

Colour Pop Cosmetics in I ❤️ this lippie stix

I know I've been MIA for a while but I haven't really been purchasing a lot of new make up because I'm on the broke side. I currently am sampling this lip stick from colour pop cosmetics, it hasn't been released yet so this is a pre release review.

The sample is of a lip liner and the lippie stick itself. Normal packaging nothing special.

The application was easy, it's suppose to be matte but I found it to be more satin. It wasn't drying which was nice. Overall I rate this a 8 out of 10 they are long lasting, smell nice, and the color choices are nice and trendy. This one is a reddish fuchsia color.

Maybelline Dream Wonder Foundation

I'm gonna be honest I first purchased this foundation because I thought the bottle was super cute. I'm a sucker for cute packaging. So I decided to try it out when maybelline was having a buy one get one 50% off.
The formula is medium to full coverage which I like because I have a lot of redness and blemishes from time to time. The formula dries matte and lasts a normal 8 hour day. I really liked it and definitely would re purchase.
The lighting isn't great but you can see that the foundation isn't too thick and natural looking.
This is with a full face of make up. I purchased it in the shade "nude". In this picture I'm wearing mac flesh pot lipstick, stila metallic foil eyeshadow in black vintage gold, Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in chocolate, blushing bride tarte blush, too faced chocolate soliel bronzer, and Sonia kashuk highlighter in sand.

Mac Novel Romance Lingering Kiss Lipstick

Nothing from this collection really popped out at me but it's hard to say no to new limited edition collections from Mac. So I decided to buy one of the lipsticks since I'm a lipstick junkie. I bought lingering kiss which is described as a matte wine color which I thought would be perfect for fall. I received the lipstick yesterday and right away thought I have 6 different lipsticks that are very similar to this one. So it's not the most unique color out there but it's still nice.

The lipstick is pretty dark but still wearable, it might be a little too bold for some people. I tried it on at work with no other make up so I'm sure it looks strange but you can get the idea.

Excuse the weird face and headset but I was at work lol. So this is the lipstick and I think it'll look really good in the fall. The collection is now available at nordstrom.

Maybelline Master Kajal Review

While walking around Walmart I passed the make up section and saw this poster of a model wearing a new maybelline eyeliner.

So I bought the one in the poster because I really liked the way it looked. It's in the color navy night. I've never been a huge fan of blue eyeliners, I usually stick to black but this one stuck out to me. So immediately when I got home I decided to try it out without reading any prior reviews.
It's a very chunky type eyeliner and I thought it was going to be a lot creamier and it was a little difficult to work with. It felt stiff to me.
I didn't think it looked bad but I wasn't impressed it was too hard to put on and a bit patchy so I won't be repurchasing. In the above picture I'm using mac nw25 concealer pot, makeup forever hd foundation in #118, Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in chocolate, maybelline master Kajal in navy night, bare minerals lash domination in intense black, tarte blushing bride blush, too faced chocolate soleil bronzer, mac superb highlight, and Avon lipstick in cocoa.

Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Love Craft

have been a huge Kat Von D fan for the longest time and fell in love with all her make up. I love the liquid everlasting lipsticks and decided to try the new studded kiss line that just came out recently. I'm pretty bold when it comes to lipstick but not bold enough to pull off "Poe" which is a navy blue glittery lipstick. Picture below is of "Poe" by temptalia.
I love bold colors but that was just a little TOO bold for me! Now I have a lot and I mean a lot of lipsticks so I wanted to get one that was different than a lot of the colors I have. I decided to get love craft which is described as a mauvey pink nude matte color. Lately matte is the only formula I've been purchasing. I have huge lips so I feel that very glossy lipsticks seems to bring out the fullness of my lips and sometimes I don't want the attention so I feel matte is more contained (if that makes sense). Lately it seems like the Kylie Jenner lips are a huge make up dupe staple and I decided that this lipstick was a really good dupe for the kylie lips.
So I bought love craft at sephora for $22 and although I found it to be a bit pricey overall it was worth it. It lasted about 5 hours with eating and drinking. So it had good color pay off, long lasting, and nice packaging.

The color is very subtle but can be darkened with a lip liner. The lighting on my swatch isn't the best but you get the idea. If you want a kylie jenner dupe this a good option, it would look really nice with a smokey eye. Once again thanks for ready and stay posted for more reviews!

Colour Pop Cosmetics Eyeshadows

So this is my first time writing a review on my new blog and I just wanted to say that I created this blog because I feel like there are lot of great make up products out there that people have not discovered. Recently I stumbled upon a brand of eyeshadows on Instagram called colour pop cosmetics. And I for the longest time have been super anti drug store make up brands until I discovered colour pop cosmetics. They aren't sold in stores at the moment and are a small local brand. I cannot say enough good things about this make up line all the eyeshadows are super pigmented, long lasting, and buttery. And the best part is that they're only $5 a piece. So when I bought 6 for $30 it was free shipping and I bought dare which is a glittery purple, fizz a lime green, chipper a minty green, slave 2 pink a glittery hot pink, too shy a glittery blue, and animal a coral. They are right now my favorite eyeshadow brand and literally blew mac out the water. I have turned on so many people to these eyeshadows because the color pay off is amazing and so is the price. Below I will be showing swatches of the eyeshadows in their pots and on my hand to show the color.
From left to right it's too shy, dare, chipper, animal, fizz, and slave2pink.
This is just one swipe and they are super opaque. They are also a good alternative to the urban decay electric palette if you don't want to spend $50 you can get a few of these for a much cheaper price.

Thanks for reading my review and hope you liked it! Will be posting more soon.
